Our history
Founded in 2019 by Lenard Verde, Advance IT helps small and midsized businesses strengthen cybersecurity, protect critical data, and simplify technology management.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Lenard built Advance IT on a simple principle: small businesses deserve the same level of protection and expertise as larger organizations -- without the complexity of cost of maintaining an in-house security team.
While operating his own IT practice, Lenard earned a bachelor's degree in information management and industry-leading certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft. To better serve evolving business needs, he later earned a master’s degree in information technology management and obtained the elite ISC² CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) designation.
Today, the Advance IT team helps organizations throughout California reduce cyber risk, improve resilience, secure Microsoft 365 environments, and stay focused on running their business with confidence.
